The PC Maintenance Technology associate degree program teaches students to install and maintain personal computers, peripherals, and software. Beginning with an introduction to the Windows operating system, the course's modules include working with motherboards and power supplies, memory configuration, installing disk and CD-ROM drives, and configuring peripherals. Students also learn networking, software diagnostice, and computer viruses. The material presented prepares the graduate for the A+ certification.
