Dover Business College
Dover Business College is well known for its use of information technology.
The school uses the most current hardware and software in its career
and skill specific programs. For 40 years, the school has offered
students a businesslike atmosphere in which to learn, including
a dedicated faculty and administration, sound educational programs,
and high learning standards. The college is accredited by the Accrediting
Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award Certificates
and Diplomas.
Dover has two campuses, one in Morris County and the other in Passaic County, New Jersey. Students are provided with a wide variety of services and activities, including an annual career day featuring prospective employers and job placement services. Other activities include social events, field trips to major area companies, and community events.

Database Administration and Support
Students learn to become database administrators in networked systems. They study beginning and advanced database applications, and then learn to manage Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Oracle 10 database installations. The program also includes an introduction to networking hardware and operating systems, and includes a capstone course in Computer Support Strategies, where students improve their capacity to provide technical assistance and support.

Email Administration and Support
Students learn to configure and support IBM/Lotus and Microsoft email client and server applications. The program covers the Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook client applications, and the Domino 6.5 and Microsoft Exchange groupware/email server applications. Additional topics cover network operating systems, computer support strategies, and project management.

PC Support and Network Administration
The PC Support and Network Administration diploma program teaches students to troubleshoot and maintain personal computer hardware and software, along with network operating systems and hardware. Students receive hands on training in frequently used computer applications, Microsoft Windows and Linux computer networking, and Cisco network hardware. The program takes 40 weeks to complete with day classes, or 60 weeks of evening classes.

Prior to being admitted to Dover Business College, students must have earned
their high school diploma or G.E.D. Prospective students can get
more information about the college and its programs, or start the
admissions process by completing the information
request form. Dover participates in a number of financial aid
programs, and offers many options for financing the student's education.
