Baker College Online

Online Degree and Certificate Programs
Associate Degree in Computer Programming
Choose from a general program, or one concentrating on Java programming. Both tracks include an introduction to operating systems and development methods. The general program provides training in the RPG, Visual Basic, and C++ languages, while the Java track replaces RPG with Java. Students can apply what they have learned to the real world with a work experience project.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
The Bachelor in Computer Science includes courses in software development, network administration, database administration, and the Internet. Core courses include systems development and architecture, data structures, and Java, Perl, and database programming. Students can choose from minors in Database Technology or Game Software Development.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems
This program focuses on using computers to solve business problems. In addition to learning computer programming using RPG, Perl, C++, and Java, students learn systems development methods, and take business and general education courses that help them understand some of the challenges they will face in the workplace.
